Tires Plus

I want to give five stars to the Tires Plus on East Bay in Largo, especially Mike and Allison, for turning a frustrating situation into a great customer-service experience. I originally purchased four new tires at the Tyrone location on a Friday. When I got back into my vehicle, I noticed the tire-pressure light was still on. I brought it to the attention of the employee at the counter and was told to drive it for a while and come back if the light stayed on. A couple of days later, while driving, a friend pointed out that I had a flat tire. After checking it, I found that the valve stem was leaking and apparently had not been replaced when the new tires were installed. I also noticed that all of my valve-stem caps were missing. I called the Tyrone location and was disappointed by the lack of concern or empathy. I was simply told to bring the vehicle back in. Instead, the next morning I went to the Tires Plus on East Bay in Largo, and the experience was completely different. From the moment I arrived, I felt heard and taken seriously. Mike immediately reassured me that they would take care of the issue, gave me a realistic timeframe, and the van was completed exactly as promise

Website sucks! It said you had over 100 of the specific tire I needed. It lied! I had to wait 3 hours to get the tires brought to this store! It also said y’all are open till 9 pm which is incorrect. At least the price was correct which would have REALLY been a problem for me!! Duane customer service was amazing!!!! He listened to me vent about the wait & was VERY nice & patient with me the whole time! I will be back BECAUSE of Duane … & the price was good. Pls be sure & give this young man a raise!! Or at least a pat on the back! Thanks.

We paid for new tires and an alignment in February of this year. The front tires are totally worn out. Took the van back to them, we were told that it is not under warranty. That they see that the van needs front end work. Took the van to another mechanic, there is nothing wrong with the front end. The alignment was not done properly causing the tires to wear out in 4 months. Tires plus wanted to charge us almost $4,000 for work that is not needed so they could avoid replacing the tires under warranty. NEVER again will we use this company, and we will tell everyone we know not to use them.

My tire was flat at work yesterday so I called to make sure this location could take me, they said “of course!” and I had it towed to them. They had my car from 3 PM- 7PM. I sat in their lobby for over 2 hours when I got off work. At 6:30 they finally pulled my car in (after originally telling me it should be done by 6:30). I was frustrated, but let it go. At 6:50 they proceeded to tell me that there was nothing wrong with the tire.. they told me they ran all the checks and couldn’t find anything (the tow truck had put air in it before towing and the tire was inflated). I woke up this morning to guess what?? That’s right folks - a flat tire. I am currently sitting at Tires Choice and within a few minutes the found the nail in my tire. Amazing detective work. Now, I could understand if you were busy and I just had it towed there, but if you were so busy that you couldn’t get to the car or actually do the job of assessing the tire, why tell me I could bring it??? I hate having my time wasted. I especially hate having my time wasted due to incompetence.
